Thinsulate™ Insulation
Insulation takes place in two ways: On the one hand, air is used to insulate. The more air captured, the more efficient the insulation. On the other hand, the body’s own heat is stored and used. Thinsulate™ insulation fibres are so fine, so that the air is optimally captured and the body’s own heat is optimally stored and used. The tiny Thinsulate Insulation microfibres are about one tenth of the size of fibres in other filling, which means they can capture air much better, thus ensuring great warmth and that feel-good factor. As the fibres are extremely small, they are packed more densely together so that the body’s own heat can be retained better.

100 gram* Thinsulate™ Insulation-thickness 0,70 cm-clo/gr 0,013 is recommended for very cold conditions or for light activity levels where wearer generates/builds little body heat through activity.

60 gram* Thinsulate™ Supreme Insulation is recommended for cool conditions or for very high activity levels where wearer generates/builds a lot of body heat through activity.

6-denier hollow fiber

The fibers of Thinsulate™ Insulation are fine, making them ideal for trapping insulating air andreflecting back the body’s radiant heat.

Thinsulate Insulation

The fibers in 6-denier polyester are much thicker and not nearly as efficient at trapping air or reflecting back body heat.

Thinsulate Insulation‘s special fiber blend provides superior insulating efficiency that does not diminish breathability
