SALEWA SOFTSHELL light
The lighter summer version of Salewa’s tried-and-tested Softshell. Instead of a “normal fl eece”, the inside features a particularly light, structured fl eece. The relief structure of the microwaffl e fl eece results in improved body ventilation, and at the same time its larger surface area absorbs a large amount of moisture. This increases sweat wicking away from the body, something that is very important, especially during the warmer seasons.

Care tips for Softshell® textiles

The function and durability of every softshell article is also dependent upon the correct care. It is therefore important to pay attention to the following points:

1. Don’t fail to heed the care instructions, which are sewn into each SALEWA softshell product.
2. Only wash the products with liquid fine washing detergent or special washing detergent (e.g. Granger's).
3. Never use a softener.
4. Wash the products in the fine wash cycle at 30 or 40 degrees.
5. Close all zips prior to washing, and pull the hoods of jackets out of the collars.
6. After washing, simply allow the textiles to dry naturally in the air.
7. If necessary, only iron the softshell articles at lower temperatures.
8. Impregnate the textiles from time to time with a special care product (e.g. Granger's). This not only improves the beading effect during downpours, but it also provides better protection against heavy soiling.
